H Design was commissioned to design "The Fremont" retirement facility on a five acre site in south Springfield, MO.  Being the first of its kind, particular attention was paid to providing an architectural style that could promote a warm and inviting atmosphere for its residents.

The project design consists of a three-story apartment building as the site's main attraction with townhouse structures at the perimeters of the development. With apartments and townhouses ranging from 1050 to 1700 sq. ft., the project was designed for the active lifestyle of the 55 and older community. Amenities for the residents include a central library, meeting rooms, fitness area, hair salon, and outdoor exercise stations, as well as indoor and outdoor gathering areas to promote community interaction.
